Flying Without A Net
Jan. 2, 2009
At fifty-five I am embarking on an exciting chapter in my life to create the life I imagine. In just a few weeks, I will be moving with my husband Robert and our cats 3,000 miles across country from Westhampton Beach, to the San Francisco Bay area. We will leave behind all that is familiar on the East Coast, including family, and close friends. We had hoped to sell the home we had inherited four years ago when my in-laws passed away, but the unexpected happened. The real estate market took a dive. With limited funds, we are trusting that our moving forward with the lives we wish to have, will open the door for either a buyer or renter to move into the house. I tell myself that nothing is accomplished without great risk. As I envision the life that I desire, I take this leap of faith, hoping that when I do, the net will appear.
