Valentine’s Day

Feb. 14th

Slept late, it’s a rainy day.

We arrange dinner with Beth and discussions of how we can support each other. She agrees to review our book proposal and introduce us to her literary agent. We agree to give her some ideas regarding the bigger plan for her career. It’s a good balance and although it’s been a week since she and I met she feels like an old friend already. Over dinner we discuss business and get to know each other on a personal level too. We brought her a good luck bamboo plant; she brought us a red rose. It’s a lovely way to celebrate the holiday and share love all around.
