It’s All New

March 30^th.

Today I Skyped with my dear friend Heather in NJ and later with my sister Meryl and my niece Sarah in Boston. It was amazing to see them on camera, just like having a personal visit….. I must tell my other sister, Fredley to join them so I can see her too! I love bridging this distance. There is something in seeing a person that just hearing there voice doesn’t compare to.  I love Skype.

At first it took me awhile to open to the idea of trying to use Skype on my own. I am usually technologically challenged and get easily overwhelmed by the newness of high tech stuff. My first reaction is fear and that I can’t do it. I hate that feeling. My resistance to trying new tech things is diminishing. As I try to view it all as an exciting challenge to be explored and to help me grow, I’m finding it to be less challenging than I thought. As in most instances my attitude toward it is everything.
