Something to Feel Good About Today…

Where There’s Light There’s HOPE

April 21, 2009

Two weeks ago, I spotted an adorable, miniature daffodil plant in a green and white striped , ceramic cachet pot. Amazingly, it only cost $4.00 and at that price, I just had to have it. All during my work week, seeing those three bright yellow blossoms on the edge of my computer desk, brought me tremendous joy!

By the end of the week however, I noticed that the flowers had begun to wilt and then to wither. I wondered if I had made a mistake and perhaps the lighting was not adequate for this small plant to thrive in my home. Still I allowed the light from my desk lamp to shine on it as I hoped for the best. Miraculously a few days later, my tiny plant had flowered four new, sunshine yellow blossoms.

I don’t always know if my efforts will have a positive effect.  All I can do is try my best to be positive.
