A Little Praise Goes A Long Way

My husband Robert turned to me this morning and said, “I want you to know, I think you’re terrific, I really appreciate all you do for me, and I am a very lucky man to have you in my life!”

“WOW…. What made you say that?” was my first response.  Then I simply said “Thank You.”

Today isn’t my birthday or any special occasion, but it sure felt like a Holiday. Loving words when they were not expected, allowed me to feel appreciated and cherished, and that meant everything to me. 

Words of praise have a powerful impact and I will remember to lovingly acknowledge the people who touch my life every day.
