Here’s something to Feel Good About Today…

May 11^rd.

There have been many times in my life that I’ve felt disappointed. Expectations are dangerous. To believe that I have control over events or people sets me up for a letdown.

While it’s important to expect the best outcome, it’s crucial to accept what is and cannot be changed. When things don’t turn out my way, I stay optimistic that whatever happens will be for the best in the long run. Looking at it from this perspective allows me to find acceptance and peace. It’s the choice I make no matter what happens.

Everyone we meet allows us the opportunity to learn and to grow. It’s not so much the circumstances that will shape you, but how you perceive them that makes all the difference. I choose to love people as they are and to accept circumstances as they present themselves. We all have free choice, so choose the path that allows you the greatest happiness.
