New friendships need to be tested; it takes time and a few rough bumps to see if they can run the course. I’m lucky to have a few solid steady friends, the ones I know I can count on no matter what.

They make up for the ones that are incapable of going the extra mile or weathering the storms of true intimacy.

I am grateful for the friends I have who show up when I need them and help me to heal my wounds just by listening and telling me they love me… It’s that complicated and that simple.
