Taking Breaks

I create pressure for myself. Yes there are deadlines, and there are many expectations placed on me but it’s up to me to roll with them or take them to heart. I’m learning to recognize when my tension level is rising and allow myself to take breaks; to breathe, take a walk, stretch and just let go.
It’s amazing how a few minutes of time out can make a difference in relieving my tension. I don’t have it down perfectly but then there is no perfection, that’s another matter and a big part of why I feel the tension in the first place.
