Letting Go Easily
Marlene’s Mid-Life Diary
I addressed all the issues I have with my new boss. Most of all that I feel it’s a position that I am set up to fail in. I know I have tried my best and we agreed that it is just not a good match. No hard feelings.
I finished up what I had on my plate and will tie up the loose ends tomorrow. I left him today feeling that a tremendous weight had been lifted off of me.
No regrets, I feel I handled myself well and stood up for myself in a way I am proud of. What pleases me most is that knowing it was not good for me; I made a decision pretty quickly to leave. In the past I would have stayed and toughed it out. Today I choose only what feels good for me and take actions to ensure that.

Good job! There is right, there is wronge. We know what’s right, we know what’s wronge….it’s in our gutt.
