Marlene’s Mid-Life Diary

Yesterday was a day for pleasure. We took a day trip with some new friends we met at the TV station and went to Carmel. One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited, the beach and the surrounding scenery was breathtaking. On the 17 mile ride up to Pebble Beach golf course, we stopped to see the Lone Cypress tree. It’s hard to believe that a tree could ever take root and grow as this tree did. It just proves that miracles do happen.
