Here’s Something To Feel Good About Today…

I’ve always been an animal lover. As a child my dad told me I had animal blood because neighborhood dogs would gravitate to me. In fact our first family pet was a German shepherd that showed up in our yard and followed me back and forth to school until we adopted him.

I never knew what it was like to be around cats until much later in life. While I still love all animals I have a special affinity now for cats. Here’s a photo of Zip and Zack, brothers we saved from winding up in a shelter or worse. How can you not love them!

I have a theory that while it may seem that we choose our animals, they somehow choose us. Whether they wander into our yards, show up in our lives needing to be rescue or snuggle in our laps at the dog breeder, there is no coincidence that we end up with our particular pets. The truth is we choose each other.

I’d love to see a photo of your pet. If you love them as much as I love mine, you know we are truly blessed.
