Lasting Friendships

Here’s Something To Feel Good About Today…

I have a circle of girlfriends that I connect with once a month via conference call. When we formed our supportive circle we all lived in close proximity. Now half of us live on the west coast and half still live in NYC. We’ve been connecting now for almost 10 years never missing a month and even planning a yearly weekend vacation retreat together to enjoy each other’s company.

Tonight was our monthly call and as always I am reminded how different and yet how alike we all are. We all have our problems, issues and challenges to work through. We listen to each other, vent, and spew our honest feeling about spouses, jobs, and finances, whatever. Afterwards we all feel better than when the call began simply because there were others there to listen.

I am blessed to have these women in my life. They fill my need for emotional connection. Who is there open to listening to you, and more important are you ready to open up and share? It’s my belief that having close friends is vital to your health and well being. Remember that being a friend to someone else opens the door for them to be a friend to you. Let it begin with you and watch what happens.

  1. When we say friends, don’t just easily neglect an effort of a person to keep in touch.some people are getting tired.its not all the time that they hold on,make sure you make someone happy before everything is gone..”Open the your doors to let everybody knows the real you”..

  2. Friends are friends. They are the best person you count on always. Stay forever even if there are many problems and disgrace in life. If you have no friends your not normal or not human at all.
