Take A Leap, What Do You Have To Lose?

Here’s Something to Feel Good About Today…

Leaping Dancer I’ve learned to take more and bigger risks, because really what do I have to lose? Looking back I’ve never regretted any of my steps forward; my baby steps, my bold steps or my giant leaps have all proved worthwhile down the road.

Today I wonder why I hesitated or waiting much longer than I needed to, before taking the action I knew in my heart was necessary. What I know now is that risking and leaping are muscles that have to be exercised and utilized regularly. It’s a lot easier to stay in good shape then to have to get back into shape after lapsing.

Fear can be debilitating, so can hesitation, procrastination, perfection, and doubt; my excuses ran the gamut. Now there is no time for excuses or for waiting or putting off until tomorrow. No matter what happens or doesn’t, I have the inner satisfaction of knowing that I did my part by taking positive actions.

Is there something you have been putting off? If it feels like a giant leap of faith but you know it’s what you want to do, try looking at the alternative. Where will you be next week, next month or next year if you summon your courage and take that risk? Your only lose may be that you don’t’ take that chance.
