Finding Courage

Here’s Something To Feel Good About Today!

Finding Courage 2010-02-21
“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage
is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
“I will try again tomorrow.”
Mary Anne Rodmacher

There are times when we feel invincible, able to accomplish anything, capable of facing challenges with great strength and fortitude. But being human means we are all vulnerable and at one time or another our courage will be tested.

I believe that my courage is tested when I m called to confront my doubts and fears and somehow find the resilience to rise again despite my defeats. Learning to trust during times of uncertainty, a willingness to persevere no matter what, and beginning again and again with an open heart, are all signs of a courageous spirit. Some days just saying yes, is an act of courage for me. All I know is that I keep on trying.

What does courage mean to you? Do you have a story to share related to courage?

Now, my passion has taken me to blogging, compiling, and sharing stories of people who in their own small way have made a difference in someone’s life; stories that have the amazing ability to reawaken our senses to experience everything that is and can be good in the world and connect us with each other.
