Circles of Friends

Here’s Something To Feel Good About!

I am blessed to have a circle of women friends, that I call my “Circle of Light.” We came together ten years ago after my dad passed on, when a friend invited me to share an evening of remembrance at her home. It turned out to be an amazing evening and a healing event for me. Sharing with these women, I recognized my father’s positive legacy to me.

The magic continued when others shared about their fathers and we discovered the power that sharing our personal stories had to empower us all. For ten years we have not missed our monthly meeting. What began in person at one members home, has now shifted to a conference call connecting us all across the country. The past four years we have managed to put aside our busy lives and schedules to spend a weekend together for healing and support of our loving friendships.

How about you, have your recognized the value of women friends in your life? Would you like to create your own loving network of women for support and encouragement? If so I’d love to hear from you.
