Facing Our Fears

Here’s Something To Feel Good About Today!

“Find out what you don’t know about yourself, what you’re afraid of, and then face it head on.” Linda Evans, Actress (1942-)

We all have learned behaviors that slow us down or stop us in our tracks. For me, it’s the three “P’s”; Procrastination, Perfectionism and Paralysis. Unfortunately, I can still fall into one or more of these traps.

Whether it’s the important letter that could move my project forward but remains unsent, the new area of interest I have yet to pursue, or the necessary decision I need to make, the result is always the same, self-sabotage.

The good news is that I have become far more aware of myself, catch myself earlier and am learning to push myself past these old behaviors. Today I know that underneath the three “P’s” lies fear, insecurity and lack of faith.

Are you holding back from doing something you know you want to do? Come out from the shadows to face your challenge. Fear can only be overcome by moving through it. Share how you overcome your fears.
