Not As It Appears

Here’s Something To Feel Good About Today!

“We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. It’s one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it’s another to think that yours is the only path.”
Paulo Coelho quotes (Mystical author, one of Brazil’s most successful novelist)

Take a closer look at this photograph, what does it look like to you? While it may look like an elephant’s eye it is actually a snapshot of tree bark. Amazing that something can look one way and really be something else entirely. It’s the same way with people.

I know I am guilty at times of making snap judgments of others. I forget that their life path has been very different from mine and that my sizing them up keeps us separated by our differences.

When you begin to pass judgment on someone else, stop for moment and remember that things are seldom as they appear to be. Let’s keep the focus on ourselves and being the best people we can be and always look for the good in others.
