Authenticity Matters
Here’s Something To Feel Good About Today!
“That’s what real love amounts to-letting a person be what he really is. Most people love you for who you pretend to be. To keep their love, you keep pretending-performing. You get to love your pretense. It’s true, we’re locked in an image, an act-“ Jim Morrison (1943-1971)While these gorgeous white roses appear to be freshly cut from the garden, a single touch will immediately tell you they are fabulous fakes!
Maybe it doesn’t matter that they bear no alluring fragrance or that they lack softness or subtlety as long as they appear to be real? Imagine a wedding or social event, the room overflowing with spectacular artificial flowers. Picture that same place filled with artificial, pretentious people. The reality is we all have our moments of pretense. The truth is that we don’t fool anyone, especially not ourselves.
Whether it’s flowers or people, we all sense the real from the imitation. Everyone responds to a genuine smile, a warm hug and words of truth when they are spoken from the heart. So why pretend to be anything other than your genuine, authentic self? No matter where someone else is coming from, BE REAL, and watch the illusions disappear and the meaningful connections begin.

Authenticity is very much about transparency. In the world we live now, much of us is exposed whether we like it or not. If we are on Facebook, twitter or any such social media, we are always opening our life to the world. This brings a big challenge for people who might conceal their real self.
One thing I have discovered is that it is best to be transparent, I could be annoying at times, all my opinions might not be received well by all, but I speak my heart and if so I will never contradict my self.
When I know that my real self is beautiful as it is I can know that the other person is beautiful for he or she is real.
Be authentic, be transparent, let people see through you for you are one with nature
