Champion Yourself

Here’s Something To Feel Good About Today!

“Champion the right to be yourself; dare to be different and to set your own pattern; live your own life and follow your own star.” Wilfred Peterson

There have been times when in order to follow the dictates of my heart; I have had to go it alone.

The process of becoming me has taught me the importance of being my own best friend. Regardless of circumstances or opinions I listen for inner guidance before making major decisions, forgive myself when I make mistakes, and begin each day with a hopeful heart. Most of all when I fall, I allow time to heal, stand again and continue to move forward. After all it is my face I see looking back in the mirror and my heart that must be at peace when I lay my head on the pillow. I make a daily promise to myself to never give up on me.

Sooner or later most of us come to know that we must learn to champion ourselves. People will come and go in your life, those who stay may not always be willing or capable of offering the encouragement and support you need. Expand your circles to find new supporters but learn to trust yourself and become your own champion.
