Positivity Will Change Your Life

Here’s Something To Feel Good About Today!

“Every day may not be good, but there’s something good in every day.” ~Author Unknown

For me, a positive attitude means finding a ray of hope in every situation, no matter what. It requires diligent focus on finding “something good” throughout my day. It’s about acknowledging and appreciating all the people who touch my life; friends, family members, co-workers and even strangers.

Just as I chose to work out to keep my muscles toned and my body in good health, I must also chose to exercise my mental attitude in order to keep an optimistic viewpoint. To help me, I carry some positive affirmations in my purse, reminders to quickly shift my thoughts and attitude back to the positive. Acceptance, forgiveness, letting go and non-judgment may not be easy to attain at times, but I know each of them leads to my inner contentment and happiness.

When you find yourself around someone who complains, gossips, judges or blames, try shifting the conversation. When that negativity is in your own mind, try changing the channel to positive inner dialogue. You can meditate, take a walk, sing a silly song, call a friend, or have a cappuccino. Do whatever it takes to shift back to the positive.

Positivity begins within each of us, and just like that ray of sunlight that beams through a dense cloud, it brightens everything.
