Smiling Kitten Will Make You Smile

Smiling Kitten Will Make You Smile

“Here’s Something To Feel Good About Today!”

“Simple pleasures are best.”Alan Bradley

I am one of those people who always stop to pet a kitten or a puppy. I find them absolutely irresistible!

Today it was a four month old golden retriever with huge brown eyes that looked at me adoringly. As I stroked his satin soft floppy ears there was an instant connection with the animal as well as with his owners. In just a few minutes, we all experienced joy, it was a simple pleasure that made us all smile.

Pets make it easy to strike up conversation. People relax and open themselves when the focus is on their animal. I am always amazed how easy it is to bridge the gap between being a stranger and becoming a friend when a pet is involved.

If you are an animal lover I am sure you can relate. Tell us how stopping to take a few minutes to appreciate a pet enhanced your day. How did you create easy dialogue with someone who might have otherwise been a stranger? Even if you don’t feel an affinity for animals, I think you will still appreciate this adorable picture. If it makes you smile please share this link. We could all use a genuine smile from either a person or a pet today!

What a cute picture! It didn’t just make me smile, but I giggled. My daughter loves cats and she was giggling with me too.

I agree with you. Our family love cats and dogs. We make it a habit to bond together with our pets. That really is a relaxing feeling after a day’s work.
