Expand Your Life, Learn Something New

Expand Your Life, Learn Something New

“Here’s Something New To Feel Good About Today!”

“Being ignorant is not so much a shame as being unwilling to learn” Benjamin Franklin

You are never too young or too old to explore something new! What will you learn today?

I feel most alive when I am creating or learning. When I engage my senses in exploring new territory, life becomes exciting again. I pick up a book, find an interesting article on the computer, try a new recipe, take a seminar. I can make any day an adventure, simply by changing my routine.

From what I see, the happiest people are always expanding their world. They see themselves and everyone else as students as well as teachers. There is so much to learn from one another, but the growth begins within each of us. So what’s new in your world? Share what you are learning or doing to expand your life. Try something new and tell someone about it, you never know who will benefit from your learning experiences.

I never stop studying through people or reading materials. Good thing we do have the internet that can give us access to websites that we can use for studying or research. Like this site, it can give you more and new ideas.

I always find time to learn something. I open all my favorite websites and blogs to inspire me. I can work with a very minimal salary as long as I am learning a lot. That is the most important thing for me.

My passion has always been storytelling whether that involves writing or imagery. Following this passion, I built a 20-year career licensing my unique hand painted illustrations and product designs to renowned companies in the gift, paper, and home décor categories. My clients include Waterford Wedgwood, Tiffany & Co., George Caspari, Shurman Fine Papers, Block China, Simon & Schuster, Random House, Cartier, Shaw Living, Stephen Lawrence, and many more. To view samples of my artwork, just go to http://www.createdigitalart.com/designers/marlene.php. Now, my passion has taken me to blogging, compiling, and sharing stories of people who in their own small way have made a difference in someone’s life; stories that have the amazing ability to reawaken our senses to experience everything that is and can be good in the world and connect us with each other.
