Stand For Something, Make A Commitment

Stand For Something, Make A Commitment

“Here’s Something New To Feel Good About Today!”

“To live is to choose. But to choose well, you must know who you are and what you stand for, where you want to go and why you want to get there.” Kofi Annan (Ghanaian diplomat, seventh secretary-general of the United Nations, 2001 Nobel Peace Prize.)

A life of purpose and passion begins with taking a stand and following through on your commitments.

Do you know what you stand for? If you haven’t asked yourself this vital question, you might be a bystander rather than a player in your own life. On the other hand, you may know what you believe in but are just not ready to take the necessary steps to move forward and commit to your goals.

Let me ask you this question, if not now, when? Do yourself a favor and make TODAY the day you take a stand for whatever you believe in. Put aside your doubt and fears and become an active participant in the game of your life. Time passes, don’t let YOUR life pass YOU by.

It has taken much of my life for me to know what I stand for, to find my voice and have the confidence to share it. Today, I can tell you that I stand for empowerment and transformation for myself and for everyone, everywhere. I believe that solutions to world problems will come when we connect through our hearts as well as through our intellects. I know first hand that the shortest distance between hearts is through sharing our stories. I am open and willing to share my stories, and inviting others to do the same.

Knowing what YOU stand for allows the freedom to choose what you commit to; with commitment comes synchronicity. That’s when the real magic begins! You will actually attract others to walk along side of you and together accomplish so much more than each of us can ever create alone.

It’s up to each of us to play the game of our lives fully with passion and purpose. That’s where happiness and fulfillment live. It all begins when we begin to stand up for what we believe in, write about it, talk about and most importantly walk in those beliefs every day of our lives.
